Baljuwhuis’ gardens (Plein 1)
Garden and stables free acces.
The Baljuwhuis dates from 1742 and was commissioned by bailiff Joan van Gybelant, working for the lord of Wassenaar. Behind the house you will find a spacious garden with an 18th century winding wood, oaks along a path, beech hedges, a vegetable patch and an orchard. Close to the house there is a garden, a rare early design (1954) of garden architect Mien Ruys.
